EMR printer-friendly sheets now available for prescribing

Prescribers of controlled drugs and substances now have the option of ordering electronic medical record (EMR) printer-friendly sheets, in addition to hardcopy prescription pads.

International Day of the Midwife 2025

May 5 is the International Day of the Midwife. This year's theme is “Midwives: Critical in every crisis.”

Your efforts make a difference to the lives of British Columbians every day. Thank you.

Recognizing, reflecting, and taking action

Red Dress Day is on May 5, and honours the lives of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit People. Bear Witness Day is on May 10, and urges full and proper implementation of Jordan's Principle. The Moose Hide Campaign on May 15 seeks to end gender-based violence. BCCNM acknowledges these important days and is committed to continuing our work to make the health-care system culturally safe for Indigenous Peoples.

RM standards page gets a refresh

Check out the updated midwife standards page! We’ve made changes to make it clearer to read and easier to find documents. We’ve also highlighted the associated learning resources for each standard.

Office closed
