Consent agreement

​On Dec.​ 31, 2024, a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a consent agreement between BCCNM and Robert Fairfield of North Vancouver to address practice issues that occurred between September 2021 and January 2022 related to failure to adhere to medication administration and documentation standards and institutional policies regarding the administration, wasting, and documentation of opioids.

The registrant has v​oluntarily agreed to terms equivalent to a limit and/or condition on their practice, including:

a. A suspension o​​f their nursing registration for seven (7) days after returning to practising registration.

​The Inquiry Committee is satisfie​​d that the terms will protect the public.
