Consent agreement

Dec 4, 2025

On Dec. 4, 2025,  a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNM and Salendra Kumar of Maple Ridge to address practice concerns that occurred between December 2023 and April 2024 related to inappropriately touching a student on two occasions.

Nurses are required to treat colleagues, students, and other health care workers in a respectful manner and maintain professional boundaries at all times.

The registrant has voluntarily agreed to the following terms:

  1. Reprimand and suspension of their registration for one week, and

  2. Remedial education in the domains of boundaries and respectful workplace.

The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will address the professional and practice concerns that arose and will protect the public.
