On Dec. 3, 2025, a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a consent agreement between BCCNM and Rupinder Gill of Penticton, B.C., to address practice issues related to medication administration, documentation, client care, and workload management that occurred from April 2023 and March 2024.
The conduct was unsatisfactory, with respect to the following professional and practice standards that BCCNM set:
a. Duty to Provide Care,
b. Documentation,
c. Ethical Practice,
d. Knowledge-based Practice,
e. Client-focused Provision of Service, and
f. Professional Responsibility and Accountability.
BCCNM standards set expectations to ensure nurses are practising competently, ethically, responsibly, and safely. Nurses are accountable for their nursing decisions, actions, and professional conduct. Nurses must meet these standards in providing care to patients.
The registrant has voluntarily agreed to a public reprimand for breach of the above standards, and remedial education in targeted areas to address knowledge gaps.
The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will address the issues and protect the public.
