On August 10, 2017, the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between CRNBC and Nandy Jacques of Surrey, BC, to remediate conduct. Specifically, over the course of two years, the Registrant provided documentation to his employer indicating he had received immunizations and was conducting himself according to employer policy. The documentation was later confirmed to be fraudulent. His employment was terminated.
In the result, the Registrant voluntarily agreed to a 3 month suspension and a term equivalent to a limit on practice, namely, a twelve month period where he is not the sole nurse. Additional terms include agreement not to repeat the conduct, remedial education, a CRNBC regulatory practice consultation program, and disclosure to employers.
The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
