Consent agreement

Mar 3, 2019

On March 3, 2019 a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNP and Ronnel Santos of Vancouver, B.C., to remediate unprofessional conduct related to making inappropriate comments to colleagues and nursing students and showing nursing students an inappropriate sexual image on his personal cell phone.

The Registrant has voluntarily agreed to terms equivalent to conditions on practice, including:

  • Consenting to a suspension from nursing practice for two-months
  • Consenting to a reprimand
  • Completing a course on appropriate workplace behaviour; and
  • Meeting with a BCCNP Practice Support Consultant

The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
