Toon, Anna, RN

Consent agreement

Aug 13, 2018

On August 13, 2018 a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between CRNBC and Anna Toon of Penticton, to remediate practice issues related to incomplete or inaccurate documentation, medication errors, and an inadequate assessment during the time period of April 2014 to January 2017.

The Former Registrant ceased nursing practise in this time period and allowed her registration to lapse. In anticipation of returning to nursing practise in the future, she has agreed to terms equivalent to a limit and condition on practice including: 6 months direct supervision in a low acuity setting followed by an additional 6 months of indirect supervision in that same low acuity setting. She has agreed to additional remediative measures including a CRNBC Regulatory Practise Consultation and disclosure to employers.

She may also be subject to additional terms imposed by the Registration Committee.

The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
