On April 28, 2020 a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNP and Shivie Sidhu of Surrey, B.C. in relation to his failure to share his two previous BCCNP consent agreements with his employer, as required. The
April 26, 2019 consent agreement
included a public reprimand for failure to disclose criminal charges to BCCNP.
The Registrant has voluntarily agreed to a suspension for a period of two weeks for his failure to comply with the disclosure terms of these two consent agreements.
A failure to disclose as required by the terms of a consent agreement is always a serious matter, as it undermines the foundation and intent of BCCNP consent agreements, which are designed to protect the safety of the public.
The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
