Caliga, Olga, RN

Consent agreement

Oct 6, 2020

On October 6, 2020, a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNP and Olga Caliga of Coquitlam, to remediate practice issues that occurred on November 11 and 12, 2019 related to the failure to conduct seven rights of medication administration resulting in a medication error, the failure to engage with or apologize to a patient following a medication error, the failure to provide accurate responses to facility and regulatory investigators, and failure to generate and submit an accurate PSLS report.

The Registrant has voluntarily agreed to terms equivalent to a condition on practice, including: a public reprimand, educational coursework, a Regulated Practice Consultation, and a two-day suspension.

The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
