Consent agreement

Jul 8, 2021

On July 8, 2021 a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNM and Betty Severs of Abbotsford, B.C., to remediate practice issues that occurred between August 2019 and January 2020 related to documentation, physical examinations, time management and prioritization of care, adherence to best-practice guidelines, computer literacy, and medication administration.

The Registrant has voluntarily agreed to terms equivalent to a limit and/or condition on their practice, including: a restriction from practicing in an acute care setting for a period of at least

three years. The Registrant will also complete remedial education in documentation standards and medication administration.

The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
