On January 29, 2022, a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNM and Parampreet K Sandhu (formerly known as Parmvir Buttar) of Abbotsford to remediate conduct issues that occurred between July 2017 and April 2019, related to receiving pay for shifts she did not work, being untruthful with police and the Regulator, theft of a colleague's parcel from a parcel facility in Sumas, Washington for which she was criminally charged and received a deferred sentence, and failure to notify the regulator of criminal charges.
If and when Ms. Sandhu successfully applies for the reinstatement of her practising registration, she has voluntarily agreed to terms equivalent to a condition on practice, including: a suspension of 90 days, a public reprimand, educational coursework, and a meeting with a BCCNM Practice Support Consultant.
The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
