Consent agreement

On July 11, 2022, a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNM and Moree Dery, LPN of Coquitlam, B.C., to address practice issues that occurred on or around June 7–9, 2021, related to documentation, safe medication practices, honesty with the employer, intimidating behaviour, and unprofessional communication with patients. 

The Registrant has voluntarily agreed to terms equivalent to a limit and/or condition on their practice, including: 

  1. A suspension of their nursing registration for three months;

  2. Remedial education in Pharmacology and Sensitivity Training;

  3. Direct supervision of their nursing practice for six months; and

  4. Development of a learning plan which will be shared with their employer and with BCCNM.

The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
