Chowdhury, Enoch Roy, RN

Consent agreement

Oct 6, 2022

On October 6, 2022 a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNM and Enoch Roy Chowdhury of Victoria to address conduct issues that occurred between October 26, 2021 and February 19, 2022. The conduct issues related to the Registrant's failure to comply with the Public Health Order (PHO) in effect as of October 26, 2021; the Registrant provided nursing care to vulnerable residents in a community care facility without meeting the PHO vaccination requirement of receiving the full series of a WHO-approved vaccine against infection by SARS-CoV2.

The Registrant has voluntarily agreed to terms equivalent to a limit and/or condition on their practice, including:

  1. A public reprimand
  2. Remedial education in the ethics of nursing practice;
  3. An agreement 'Not to Repeat' the conduct

The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
