Temporary emergency registration: End date extended

Aug 4, 2021

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, BCCNM has been granting temporary emergency registration to eligible individuals so they can assist with health care response in B.C. To ensure that temporary emergency registrants (TERs) continue to be available to assist, we will be extending the end date for all TERs to Dec. 31, 2021 at 23:59 PST. Any new temporary emergency registration applications granted will also be given the end date of Dec. 31, 2021.

Temporary emergency registration was made available in March 2020 after the BCCNM registrar declared an emergency situation related to the COVID-19 pandemic. BCCNM will continue to extend the registration end date as long as the registrar’s declaration is in effect; the availability of TER is not dependent on a provincial state of emergency. If the declared emergency state is lifted before Dec. 31, 2021, temporary emergency registrants will be notified that their registration will expire 15 days following the announcement.
