MCC 360 pilot for NPs and midwives

Feb 21, 2025

Seeking regular feedback is an important way for nursing professionals and midwives to identify professional development opportunities. In 2025, BCCNM will pilot MCC 360, a tool for nurse practitioners (NPs) and midwives to gather this feedback.

While BCCNM has had process for nurses to gather colleague feedback since 2018, the advanced scope and independent nature of practice for nurse practitioners and midwives requires a tool that can collect feedback from clients, in addition to colleagues and co-workers. Feedback received will be summarized in an individualized report and discussed with a peer facilitator, who will help identify opportunities to improve professional practice.

The BCCNM Quality Assurance team will be contacting nurse practitioners and midwives selected to participate in the MCC-360 pilot program in March. Registrants not participating in the pilot may be asked to provide feedback for a participating colleague between April-June.
