Survey: Delegation to unregulated care providers

BCCNM is seeking feedback on drafted revisions to the Delegation to Unregulated Care Providers practice standard. Proposed revisions to this practice standard are intended to clarify expectations when nurses delegate to unregulated care providers such as health care assistants. The survey closes on Jan. 20.

New policy: Access to prescribed alternatives (PA) in B.C.

The Ministry of Health has released a new policy, Access to Prescribed Alternatives in British Columbia: Policy Direction to operationalize the requirement that the consumption of all PA medication doses must be witnessed by a health professional.
