On Jan. 22, 2026, a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a consent agreement between BCCNM and Xiaofang (Sophie) Huang of Richmond, B.C., to address practice issues that occurred on Nov. 11 and 12, 2024, related to medication administration, assessment, and documentation.
Nurses must administer medication and assess patients as ordered, and document accurately. The registrant has voluntarily agreed to terms equivalent to a limit/condition on their practice should they return to a high acuity work setting.
The terms include:
a. Three months of supervised practice, and
b. Development of a learning plan.
The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will address the professional and practice concerns that arose and will protect the public.
