On Jan. 20, 2026, a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a consent agreement between BCCNM and Dragana Colic of Burnaby to address practice issues that occurred from June 8 to July 8, 2024, related to diverting medication from the workplace that was intended for patients.
Nurses are expected to only perform medication-related activities as allowed by relevant provincial or federal legislation or regulations, BCCNM standards, limits, and conditions, organizational/employer policies and processes, and the nurse's individual competence.
The registrant has voluntarily agreed to the following:
a. A reprimand,
b. Remedial education in documentation, medication administration, ethical practice, and conflict of interest, and
c. Meet with a Standards and Guidance consultant.
The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will address the professional and practice concerns that arose and will protect the public.
