On Feb. 20, 2026, a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a consent agreement between BCCNM and Lyanne Beauchesne of Kamloops to address practice issues that occurred between August 2024 and January 2025, related to over-medication of residents without proper documentation or escalating her observations to the prescriber.
The registrant has voluntarily agreed to terms equivalent to a limit and/or condition on their practice, including:
- A suspension of their registration for four weeks
- A limit on their nursing registration of random chart audits for three months
The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will address the professional and practice concerns that arose and will protect the public.
