On March 5, 2026, a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a consent agreement between BCCNM and Nicole Halter of Kelowna to address practice issues that occurred on July 15, 2024, related to medication administration and documentation.
Nurses must administer medications as ordered and document accurately.
The registrant has voluntarily agreed to terms equivalent to a limit and/or condition on their practice, including:
- Supervised practice for three months,
- Not working alone, acting in a supervisory capacity, or orienting new staff for three months, and
- Remedial education in the domains of medication administration and documentation.
The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will address the professional and practice concerns that arose and will protect the public.
