Consent agreement

Mar 24, 2015

On March 24, 2015 a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between CRNBC and Xue Yan Zhang of Surrey, B.C. to remediate practice issues related to isolation procedures, communication, and medication administration.

The Registrant agreed to complete the course work identified in the Competency Assessment and Enhancement for Nursing (CAEN) assessment namely, Professional Communication and Nursing in Canada. The Registrant has voluntarily agreed to terms equivalent to a limit on practice to not work in critical care or emergency departments. The Registrant has been working in a different setting since 2013 with no reported performance concerns and a positive performance appraisal. The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
