Christianson, Gayle, RN

Consent agreement

Jul 14, 2014

On July 14, 2014 a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between CRNBC and Gayle Christianson (aka Moore, MacIntyre) of 100 Mile House, BC, to remediate practice issues related to taking a patient off-site on a social excursion, contacting a patient at home by telephone, and breaching patient confidentiality when exploring care options for a patient upon release from hospital. The Registrant has voluntarily agreed to terms equivalent to a condition on practice, including: maintaining non-practising registration pending a meeting with the CRNBC Practice Consultation program to complete a self-assessment tool identifying the circumstances leading to the current issues and preventing their recurrence, engaging in mentored orientation of 75 hours upon returning to practice, disclosing the Consent Agreement to colleagues for oversight purposes, and providing monthly reports to CRNBC. The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
