Fares, Lara, RN

Consent agreement

Jun 10, 2016

In January 2015, Registrant Lara Fares, in her role as Director of Care, spoke to staff about joining a gifting group. Patients and other members of the public were not approached or involved. In March 2015, the Registrant accepted financial contributions to the group from staff junior to her. Staff contributed to the group for the purpose of receiving exponential returns on their original contribution after recruiting new members. The Registrant is no longer employed at the Facility where this matter arose.

The Registrant reported the matter to CRNBC and accepted a reprimand for the conduct, in addition to agreeing to education on ethics and a CRNBC regulatory practice consultation.
