Gillespie, Allison, RN

Consent agreement

Jan 10, 2017

On January 10, 2017 a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between CRNBC and Allison Gillespie of Comox, BC, to remediate practice issues related to medication administration, documentation, adherence to policy and care plans, palliative pain management and professional communication and collaboration.

The Registrant voluntarily agreed to a term equivalent to a limit on practice, specifically a six month period of supervised practice, days only, with no oversight of co-staff. Additional terms include a reprimand, remedial education in the identified areas of deficiency and regulatory practice consultation sessions to develop strategies to strengthen future practice.  The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
