Consent agreement

On September 4, 2018 a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between CRNBC and Ancy Mathew of Surrey, BC, to remediate practice issues related to, on October 27, 2017:  failing to complete patient rounds and complete patient assessments when required to do so and falsifying legal documents by charting a comprehensive patient assessment that she has not done.

The Registrant has voluntarily agreed to a one-month suspension of registration and terms equivalent to a limit or condition on practice, including: a three month period of supervisory oversight of her nursing practice; completion of remedial education related ethical nursing practice; and a Regulatory Practice Consultation.

The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
