On June 14, 2019 a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNP and Amy Jensen of Fort St. John, to remediate practice issues related to her failure to work as part of a team, the effect of which left patients at risk; engaging in inappropriate communications with colleagues; breaching privacy and confidentiality by accessing personal records; and her failure to comply with terms of a Consent Agreement that was in force at all material times.
The Registrant has voluntarily agreed to terms equivalent to a condition on practice, including: a suspension of four months; a limit on practicing only in a non-acute setting for a period of six months or 900 hours of continuous practice, and that precludes her from acting in a supervisory role or from preceptorship roles for the same period; self-reflection sessions, and development of a self-reflection tool.
The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
