-
The failure to ensure that medications were administered at the prescribed time, or at all.
-
The failure to follow a physician's order regarding prn (as needed) medications.
-
The failure to appropriately document medication administration activities.
-
The failure to appropriately manage a patient in distress.
-
The failure to provide accurate handover to oncoming staff.
The Registrant has voluntarily agreed to a two (2) week suspension as well as terms equivalent to a limit and condition on practice, including the development of a Learning Plan to address the concerns founding this Agreement, and undergoing a period of supervision in the workplace regarding medication administration and associated tasks. The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
