Horsman, Vera, LPN

Inquiry Committee order

Sep 26, 2019

On September 26, 2019, BCCNP suspended the registration of Vera Horsman, Licensed Practical Nurse, pursuant to Section 35(1) of the Health Professions Act. Ms. Horsman has failed to respond to BCCNP's repeated and numerous attempts to communicate with her regarding an ongoing investigation into allegations made regarding her fitness to practise and competence. Ms. Horsman was provided ample opportunity to engage with BCCNP. Her failure to do so raised serious concerns that she may not be governable.

Any limits, conditions, and/or suspensions ordered by the Inquiry Committee under section 35(1) of the Act are made to protect the public during an investigation or pending a hearing of the Discipline Committee. Measures taken under section 35(1) of the Act pertain to matters which are and remain unproven unless admitted by a registrant or determined by the Discipline Committee.
