On January 28, 2020, a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNP and Jason Aldridge of Victoria, to remediate practice issues related to the inadvertent mishandling of confidential medical information and for failing to maintain the standards of medication administration and documentation.
The Registrant has voluntarily agreed to terms equivalent to a condition on practice, including: working with the Clinical Nurse Educator and Supervisor to allow for mentorship, support and review of his narcotic administration and documentation; and participating in Regulatory Practice Consultations to complete a self-assessment identifying the circumstances leading to the practice concerns and a plan to prevent their recurrence.
The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
