On April 15, 2020, a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNP and Amanda Marie Jepson of Winfield, B.C. to remediate practice issues related to the failure to administer medications as ordered and document accurately, the failure to meet BCCNP LPN standards for responsible and accountable practice and client-focused provision of service, and the breach of ethical standards when the Registrant provided inaccurate information during facility investigation and did not respond to BCCNP during the course of the investigation into her nursing practise.
The Registrant has voluntarily agreed to terms equivalent to a limits and conditions on practice, including a two-month suspension and the Registrant must complete educational coursework, a Learning Plan, and 12 months of direct workplace supervision. The Registrant must complete 150 hours of supernumerary practice, is not permitted to work overtime or night shifts, and must not work as the sole regulated healthcare provider on duty.
The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
