Consent agreement

Apr 27, 2020

On April 27, 2020 a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNP and Leena Varghese of Vancouver, BC to remediate practice issues occurring in June and July 2018 related to documentation, medication administration, time management, communication, and patient assessments.

The Registrant has voluntarily agreed to terms equivalent to a condition on practice, including: to limit employment to a single non-acute area of practice; not to be the sole RN on duty; and not to work in the "in charge" position for 12 months. Additionally, the Registrant has agreed to complete education related to psychomotor skills, professional communication, assessment skills, critical thinking, safety and organizational skills, and medication administration, and to develop and engage in a learning plan with the employer.

The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
