Consent agreement

May 1, 2020

On May 1, 2020  a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNP and Sharareh Ketabi (the Registrant)  of Coquitlam, B.C., in relations to her failure to share a copy of her September 10, 2017 consent agreement with her employer as required.

The Registrant's decision not to share a copy of her consent agreement with her employer was a serious breach of her consent agreement. As a result of this failure to disclose, the Registrant did not complete, in a timely manner,  a thorough review of the skills and competences required in this new workplace, nor did she undergo the required extensive orientation as stipulated in her agreement, which may have put patient safety at risk.

The Registrant has voluntarily agreed to a suspension of practicing registration for a period of one month.

The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
