Sharma, Monika, RN

Consent agreement

May 8, 2020

On May 8, 2020  a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNP and Monika Sharma of Coquitlam. The Registrant signed a consent agreement with BCCNP dated July 18, 2019. As part of this agreement, the Registrant was required to immediately disclose specific terms of her agreement to her nursing employer.

There was a delay in disclosure of these terms to her employer on the part of the Registrant, with the Registrant initiating the disclosure process with the employer approximately 23 days after receiving the agreement.

The Registrant has agreed to a public reprimand for her conduct of failing to immediately disclose the required portions of her consent agreement to her employer.

The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
