On October 8, 2020, a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNM and Maureen Konrad of Chilliwack, BC, to remediate practice issues that occurred between June and October 2019 related to the Registrant's competence in medication administration and documentation.
The Registrant has voluntarily agreed to complete remedial education, engage in a regulatory practice consultation program and limits on their practice for three months following their return to nursing practice. These limits are as follows:
The Registrant will limit their practice to shifts where there is another regulated nursing professional present in the same unit.
The Registrant will not take the position of nurse in charge of a shift and will not be responsible for the regulatory oversight of any new learners.
The Registrant will engage in weekly performance management meetings with a Clinical Nurse Educator (or equivalent position) at their workplace.
The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
