Consent agreement

Nov 18, 2020

On November 18, 2020 a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNM and Ade Omojokun of Burnaby, BC to remediate practice issues that occurred on March 6, 2020 related to his verbal abuse and excessive use of force directed at a vulnerable patient while working on a psychiatric inpatient unit.

The Registrant has voluntarily agreed to terms equivalent to a condition on practice, including a reprimand and a one month suspension; coursework, practice consultations with the Regulatory Practice Consultation; and limits on his practice that prohibit him from working in specific work environments.

The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
