Maroney, James, RN

Consent agreement

Dec 9, 2020

On December 9, 2020 a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNM and James Maroney of Sooke, B.C. to remediate practice issues that occurred in November 2019 related to providing medication to an on-duty colleague without a physician order and without the employer locating any documentation regarding the administration of medication  to the colleague.

The Registrant has voluntarily agreed to terms equivalent to a condition on practice, including: a public reprimand, educational course work and a meeting with a BCCNM Practice Support Consultant.

The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public
