Consent agreement

​On October 23, 2020, a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a consent Agreement between BCCNM and Shannon Bay of Parksville, BC, to remediate practice issues that occurred on or around September 28, 2019 to September 29, 2019 related to using physical  force to restrain a resident contrary to the resident's care plan and the facility policy.

The Registrant has voluntarily agreed to a public reprimand , meeting with a BCCNM Practice Support Consultant, completing two (2) remediation course, and undertaken not to repeat theconduct.

The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
