Evans, Kathleen, Former LPN

Consent agreement

Mar 10, 2021

On March 10, 2021,  a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNM and Kathleen Evans of Nanaimo, B.C., to remediate practice issues that occurred between September 2017 and September 2018 related to documentation, professional accountability, clinical skills, communication, and medication administration

The Registrant has voluntarily agreed to terms equivalent to limits and condition on practice, including: a condition not to return to nursing practice until successful completion of a nursing clinical decision-making module, followed by a limit prohibiting her from working in acute care until and unless they complete formal education in acute care nursing practise. The Registrant has also agreed to a reprimand, to undergo supervision for a period of six-months with a supervisor who is aware of the facts of this complaint, develop a learning plan and meet with a BCCNM practice consultant.

The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
