Redoblado, Jane, RN

Consent agreement

Jun 21, 2021

On June 21, 2021 a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNM and Jane Redoblado of Pitt Meadows, B.C., to remediate practice issues related to her practice as a General Manager of a care facility. In July and August 2020, Ms. Redoblado failed to follow direction regarding pandemic protocols, signed or supported signing another nurse's name to a document, and failed to lead when an Assisted Living resident was missing.

The Registrant has voluntarily agreed to a reprimand for her failure to follow direction with respect to pandemic protocols and must complete education on documentation and ethics and professionalism. If she accepts a managerial position at a residential care facility in the next two years, she must undertake an orientation, identify and follow relevant policies and protocols,  explicate roles and responsibilities of the leadership team, and apply to her direct report for advice and support as needed.

The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
