Mavi, Harmeet, RN

Consent agreement

Apr 4, 2022

On April 4, 2022 a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNM and Harmeet Mavi of Surrey, to remediate practice issues that occurred between August 2020 and October 2020 during the Registrant's orientation related to time management and prioritization of care, adherence to best-practice guidelines, effective team communication, foundational nursing knowledge, and medication administration.

The Registrant has voluntarily agreed to terms equivalent to a limit and/or condition on their practice, including:

  1. Remedial education in critical thinking, safe medication administration, conflict resolution, and recognizing clinical signs of deterioration;

  2. Developing a learning plan, which will be shared with their employer and with BCCNM;

  3. Direct supervision of their nursing practice for 3 months; and

  4. A limit prohibiting regulatory supervision of nursing students or other nurses.

The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
