Consent agreement

Mar 1, 2023

On March 1, 2023, a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNM and Nwachukwu Enuma of Williams Lake, B.C., to address issues that occurred in January 2022 related to inappropriate conduct with two colleagues that included making comments with sexual content and unwanted touching. There were no concerns about patient communication or care raised. The Registrant has voluntarily agreed to terms equivalent to a limit and/or condition on their practice, including:

  1. A suspension of their nursing registration for three months; and

  2. Remedial education in ethics and harassment in the workplace.

The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
