Olatunbosun, Gboyega (Kola), RN

Consent agreement

Jan 9, 2024

On Jan. 9, 2024, a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNM and Gboyega (Kola) Olatunbosun of Aldergrove, B.C., to address practice issues that occurred between January 2022 and June 2023 related to unsafe Code White and secure room practices.

The Registrant has voluntarily agreed to terms equivalent to a limit and/or condition on their practice, including:

  1. A one-month limit prohibiting them from being the sole RN on duty, supervising students, or being in charge;
  2. A four-month limit requiring direct and indirect supervision of their nursing practice (per a Supervision Agreement);
  3. Developing and working with a learning plan, which will be used in tandem with the Supervision Agreement; and
  4. Remedial education in Therapeutic Relationships for Mental Health Nursing.

The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
