Ahead of the Health Professions and Occupations Act coming into effect April 1, BCCNM has reviewed and revised all of our standards for nurses and midwives and incorporated them into our bylaws.

For NPs, this includes converting the NP scope of practice document into stand-alone practice standards, in line with last year’s change to LPN, RN, and RPN scope documents.

We’ll keep you updated over the coming weeks as the new legislation comes into effect.
