Seeking midwives and LPNs for committee work

Apr 5, 2023

Committee work is critically important to BCCNM. Through our committees, members of the public and college registrants make collaborative decisions that impact nursing and midwifery care.

We are currently recruiting practising LPNs for the Inquiry Committee and practising midwives for the Inquiry and Registration committees. The Inquiry Committee reviews complaints information or other information that could give rise to an investigation, directs the investigation process, and subsequently assesses whether remedial and/or disciplinary action against a registrant is warranted. The Registration Committee reviews and decides whether to approve or deny non-routine applications for initial registration, annual renewal, and reinstatement.

We encourage you to read about these committees to understand the commitment and the competencies we are seeking.

All positions are remunerated. Apply by May 5.
