On April 17, 2014 a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement under which the Registrant agreed to undertakings involving regular monitoring for competence and fitness to practice nursing. The Registrant has agreed to: review the CRNBC Professional Standards for registered nurses, including the Code of Ethics for Registered Nurses; successfully complete coursework to address practice concerns related to professional communication and conflict resolution; a graduated return to work over a four week period; submit reports from the treating medical specialist; and performance appraisals from the employer at 6 and 12 months of continuous nursing practice.
The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the undertakings will protect the public.
The name of the Registrant has been withheld in accordance with section 39.3 (4) (a) of the Health Professions Act for the purposes of not identifying the personal health information of the Registrant respecting the condition. The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the undertakings will protect the public.
