Consent agreement

Jan 13, 2020

On January 13, 2020 a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNP and Alfredo Chavoso of Coquitlam to remediate practice issues related to his use of a physical restraint contrary to a resident's care plan and further, his failure to ensure the relevant reporting and notification policies were followed.

The Registrant has voluntarily agreed to terms equivalent to a condition and limit on practice, including: remedial education courses; sessions with a BCCNP Practice Support Consultant to complete an Orientation/Learning Plan and ensuring for a period of 3 months, that he is not the sole regulated healthcare professional at the work place.

The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
