Consent agreement

Jan 28, 2021

On January 28, 2021 a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNM and Kelvin Johnson of Langley, B.C., to remediate practice issues that occurred between October 2018 and September 2019 related to receiving sick pay at one employer while working at a second employer on six occasions, and working as a manager on call at one employer while working a regularly scheduled shift at a second employer on two occasions.

The Registrant has voluntarily agreed to terms equivalent to a three week suspension of practice, and remedial terms including: disclosure of his work schedule at all employment sites to all employers for the duration of this agreement, the completion of an ethics course, a regulatory practice consultation, completion of a self-assessment identifying the circumstances leading to the current issues and preventing their recurrence, and providing quarterly reports to BCCNM.

The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
