Chiang, Christina, ESN

Consent agreement

May 30, 2021

On May 30, 2021 a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNM and Christina Chiang of Vancouver, to address practice issues that occurred from August 2020 to January 2021, related to using her personal cell phone while on her break at work, to make inappropriate and disrespectful posts on her Instagram page, that contained details about the patients she was caring for and made light of their situations.

The Registrant has voluntarily agreed to terms including:

a)A suspension of their nursing registration for 7 days;
b)A public reprimand; and
c)A regulatory practice consulting program to address the foundational issues underpinning this Agreement.

The Inquiry Committee is satisfied the terms will protect the public.
