Tabag, Vanessa, LPN

Consent agreement

Jun 3, 2021

On June 3, 2021, a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNM and Vanessa Tabag of Richmond, BC, to remediate practice issues that occurred on August 28, 2019.

On August 28, 2019, the Registrant failed to monitor and document a patient’s blood pressure appropriately, administer blood pressure medication in a timely manner, or take the family’s concerns regarding the patient’s blood pressure seriously.

The Registrant has voluntarily agreed to terms equivalent to a condition on practice, including:

  • not being in charge or working alone for six months,
  • working under indirect supervision for six months, completing remedial courses, and
  • meeting with a Regulatory Practice Consultant.

The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
