On July 14, 2021 a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNM and Simona Dajko of Prince George, B.C., to remediate concerns arising from off-duty comments made to social media, namely insensitive, judgmental comments made about an identifiable racial or cultural group of healthcare clients.
The terms of the Consent Agreement include a public reprimand and remedial coursework. The Inquiry Committee accepted that the Registrant had already voluntarily completed some relevant remedial education prior to the Inquiry Committee's disposition.
The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
